There are two places where pre-booked vehicles collect passengers: beside the Short Term 1 car park, or in the zone for pick-ups on the Arrivals level. Which one your vehicle uses is for the operator to say. Ask them to name it, and put it in your passenger notes. Everyone comes out of the same Main Terminal Building, so the only question is where to walk.

Pre-booked vehicles wait their turn in the airport Retail Park, in an area designated for them. Kerb zones sit behind barriers, and a vehicle may stay there 10 minutes without charge to drop off or collect. Ten minutes is short for a coach group. The driver should come forward from the Retail Park only when your group is at the pickup point with its bags.
From the airport to Syntagma and Plaka
The drive to Syntagma is about 33 km and takes 35 to 60 minutes. Many groups stay around Syntagma, Plaka or Monastiraki. Ask the operator where the coach can set down near your hotel, and how far the walk will be. Local street knowledge matters here, so let the operator advise.
Groups staying on the Athens Riviera, at Glyfada or Vouliagmeni, have a different drive. Give the operator the exact hotel.
Fairs, cruises and first-day visits
The airport sits next to Metropolitan Expo, so a fair transfer can be very short. Piraeus is about 45 to 50 km from ATH, 45 to 60 minutes, so cruise groups can go straight to the ship. Cape Sounion, with the Temple of Poseidon, is about 70 km from Athens. The Acropolis uses timed-entry tickets, so plan the coach around your slot. Delphi is about 180 km away, 2.5 to 3 hours each way. Treat it as a full coach day of its own, not an add-on to an arrival.
