Pre-booked cars collect passengers right outside the arrival halls of Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Schengen flights use Terminal 2, while Terminal 1 takes non-Schengen flights, so your departure airport decides which one you use. From 07:00 to 21:00, dispatchers help at the arrival-hall exits and at the car meeting points.

Fix the coach position before you fly

The airport publishes car meeting points but no staging area for coaches. So where the coach stands is a question for the operator, answered in advance. Ask where it will wait, how far that is from your terminal, and how the driver will find your group. Put the answers in your passenger notes. For a late landing, after the dispatchers finish, this matters even more.

Prague's perimeter stands: why the coach stops short

The drive into Prague is about 18 km, usually 25 to 45 minutes. Coaches may not enter the historic centre unless an exception has been granted. Instead, they use paid stands at the heritage zone's edge to set down and pick up. A K+R set-down stand gives 15 minutes, and a long-stay stand gives 4 hours. The parking meters charge for stands each day, 08:00 to 20:00.

If your hotel is in the Old Town or Malá Strana, expect to walk the last stretch with luggage. Tell passengers to pack with that in mind.

Coach stops for the Castle and the Old Town

For Prague Castle, coaches stop at Mariánské hradby or Dlabačov, about 5 minutes on foot. For the Old Town Square, the coach uses nábřeží Edvarda Beneše. From that stop the square is about 10 minutes on foot. A mid-morning arrival can leave bags under the coach and start sightseeing, if the driver's day allows. If you need maps on landing, Prague City Tourism has a Visitor Centre in the arrivals hall of Terminal 2.

Is there a coach parking area at Prague Airport?

The airport does not publish one for pre-booked coaches. Ask the operator where the coach will wait and meet you, and share that with the group.

Will the coach reach our hotel in the Old Town?

Usually not. Coaches are banned from the historic centre without an exception, so the coach uses a perimeter stand and you walk in.

Is there help at the airport if we cannot find the driver?
