The 3.5-tonne limit at the terminal kerb
Only vehicles of 3.5 tonnes or less may use the pick-up zones at the terminals. A full coach is well over that, so it cannot wait at the terminal. A chauffeur car can, and it meets arrivals in front of Terminal 1, on the arrivals level. If your party is small enough for a car or van, ask the operator whether the vehicle is under the limit.

Bus Stop B: the walk from each terminal
Coaches go to Bus Stop B, across from Terminal 1. It is about 400 m from T1, roughly a 3-minute walk, and about 600 m from T2, roughly 7 minutes. Those times are for one person walking freely. A group with trolleys and children takes longer, so build that into the plan.
Bus Stop B is shared. It serves intercity buses, tours, hotel shuttles and trade-fair shuttles. Tell passengers to look for your driver and not board the first bus they see. Ask the operator how the coach will be marked.
Into Berlin: the Umweltzone and the green sticker
The drive to central Berlin is about 27 km and takes 40 to 60 minutes. Inside the S-Bahn ring lies the Umweltzone, about 88 km², and entry requires a green sticker. Foreign-registered coaches are no exception. If the operator is sending a vehicle from another country, check the sticker is on it before the day.
Where a coach can stop in Berlin
Berlin gives coaches signed places to stop. The main hub is ZOB, the Central Coach Station, which faces the exhibition centre. There is signed coach parking at Charlottenburg Palace, Olympiastadion, Brandenburg Gate, Zoo station and Hauptbahnhof. For a Messe Berlin fair, ZOB sits right across from the grounds, which keeps shuttle runs short.
If the group goes straight from the airport to a first visit, pick one with signed coach parking. Luggage stays under the coach while you are inside.

Can our coach meet us outside the BER terminal?
No. Vehicles over 3.5 tonnes may not use the terminal pick-up zones, so coaches load at Bus Stop B, facing Terminal 1.
From Terminal 2, how far do we walk to Bus Stop B?
About 600 m, roughly a 7-minute walk. From Terminal 1 it is about 400 m, around 3 minutes.
Does a coach from outside Germany need a sticker for Berlin?
Yes. A coach from abroad needs the green sticker too before it enters the Umweltzone inside the S-Bahn ring.
