Vehicle types you can hire
Six classes of vehicle come from partner operators, ranging from a 57-seat coach to a three-seat saloon. We do not own any of them.
Pick by the street, then by the seats
A full-size coach is roughly 12 to 14 m long. A midi coach turns more easily in historic centres. In Amsterdam, weight matters: over 7.5 tonnes, the coach stops at the S100 ring unless exempt.
Luggage decides more than you think
Coaches carry bags underfloor. Minibuses and vans use a rear compartment that shrinks as seats fill. Wheelchair spaces cut luggage room further. Count the bags, not just the people.
Licences and records behind each class
A D1 licence covers a minibus of up to 16 passengers and 8 m in length. A coach needs category D. Anything over nine seats including the driver runs a tachograph, so driving hours are recorded and can be checked at the roadside.

Which vehicle needs a tachograph?
Any vehicle that carries more than nine people, the driver included.
Do coaches have seat belts?
Yes, belts are fitted at the passenger seats. Where they are fitted, passengers must wear them.
Can I request a specific model?
Ask. The quote states the class; the exact model depends on the operator.
What is the smallest vehicle you book?
An executive car with a chauffeur, for one to three passengers.

- Executive van (Mercedes V-Class / Sprinter class) — up to 8 seats
- Executive car (E-Class sedan class) — 1-3 seats
