Everyone exits through Terminal 3
Copenhagen has three terminals. Terminal 1 is mainly domestic, and there are Terminals 2 and 3. Still, every arriving passenger leaves through the arrivals hall in Terminal 3, once past customs. That is where your group meets the driver. Pick-up and drop-off happen at the Terminal 3 forecourt.
Coach stops at Terminal 3 and Terminal 2
Coaches stop outside Terminal 3 and Terminal 2. Since arrivals come out at Terminal 3, the stop there is the natural choice for a pickup. For departures, ask the operator which stop suits your airline. For anyone travelling apart from the group, Metro M2 gets to the city centre in about 13 to 15 minutes.

The environmental zone and the Tårnby boundary
The drive into Copenhagen is about 8 km and takes 15 to 30 minutes. In the environmental zone covering Copenhagen and Frederiksberg, a diesel bus must either meet Euro VI or have a particle filter fitted. Foreign vehicles get no exemption, and number-plate cameras check compliance. On 1 March 2025 the Copenhagen zone was expanded to the Tårnby municipal boundary. If the coach comes from abroad, ask the operator to confirm it complies.
Coach parking by day and by night
Between 07:00 and 19:00, buses can park the same way cars do. Overnight, from 19:00 until 07:00, only signed heavy-vehicle spaces may be used. A good number of tourist-bus spaces allow only dropping off and picking up. For an evening dinner or a late show, ask where the coach will wait after 19:00.
Cruise groups can go straight to the port, about 15 to 20 km away, 25 to 40 minutes. From the city, Kronborg Castle in Helsingør is about 45 km.
