Coach and minibus transfers at Brussels Airport (BRU)
Brussels Airport has one terminal and a bus station about 100 m from arrivals, under cover. The airport end is simple. The Brussels LEZ is what to check before the day.
Arrivals hall first, then down to Level 0
Brussels Airport has one terminal, split into Pier A and Pier B, and everyone lands into the same arrivals hall. Chauffeurs meet their passengers there. The bus station for organised coaches is on Level 0.
A covered walkway of about 100 m leads from the arrivals hall to the bus station. Follow the "Bus" signs from arrivals down to Level 0. It is a short walk, and the cover helps on a wet day.
Brief the group before they land
Tell passengers two things: meet in the arrivals hall, then walk to the bus station together. If people head to Level 0 on their own, they reach the bus station without a host and may not find the right vehicle. Ask the operator how the coach and driver will be identified. A printed sheet naming the hall, the walkway and the Level 0 signs helps first-time visitors.

The Brussels LEZ: Euro 5 diesel and registration
The drive into Brussels is about 12 km and takes 20 to 40 minutes. The LEZ covers all 19 municipalities of the Brussels-Capital region, with the R0 ring left out. Since 1 January 2026 it has been closed to Euro 5 diesel coaches and buses. Foreign-registered vehicles need to complete an LEZ registration before they enter.
That last rule matters if the operator sends a coach registered outside Belgium. Ask them to confirm the registration is done and the vehicle meets the standard.
Coach zones in the city, and trips out
Short-stop coach zones, 30 minutes at most, are on Boulevard de Berlaimont near Central Station. Medium-stop zones, up to 5 hours, can be found on Avenue de Bouchout, on Boulevard Pachéco and on Rue Ducale. Rue Ducale suits visits to the Royal Palace. For the Atomium, coach parking is behind Mini-Europe. Some groups fly into Charleroi, about 55 km away. Bruges, about 100 km from Brussels, can be a first stop for groups heading straight out.
