What the PASS Autocar means for every stop

Coach parking in Paris is paid at every hour of the day and needs a PASS Autocar. The pass comes in two zones: central, covering the 1st to 11th arrondissements plus Étoile, and peripheral, covering the 12th to 20th. A day that touches both needs both.

There are 56 on-street coach bays for setting down and picking up, plus spaces near hotels and venues. Give us every address, including the restaurant, so the operator can plan the pass and the bays together.

Central Paris is a walking day

Since 2024, tourist coaches have not been allowed into central Paris. Treat the Île de la Cité, Notre-Dame and the Latin Quarter as walking time and build it into the schedule. The Louvre coach car park is still open to coaches, but they reach it via the western quays only, so expect the coach to approach from that side.

Rules for buses in Paris

  • Coach parking in Paris is paid 24/7 and requires a PASS Autocar.
  • PASS zones: central (1st-11th arr. and Étoile) and peripheral (12th-20th arr.).

  • Tourist coaches barred from central Paris since 2024; Louvre coach park via western quays only.
  • ZFE: Crit'Air 3, 4, 5 and unclassified coaches banned 8am-8pm daily inside the A86 since 2025.

Crit'Air stickers and the A86 zone

Inside the A86, on all seven days between 08:00 and 20:00, a coach rated Crit'Air 3, 4 or 5 has been banned since 2025, and so has a coach with no rating at all. Get the quote to state the coach's Crit'Air class. An older vehicle might be fine for an early airport run and useless for a sightseeing day.

Airports and day trips out of Paris

Charles de Gaulle is about 30 km out, 45 to 75 minutes by road. Pre-booked coaches wait in the Parking Pro at T1, 2ABCD, 2EF, 2G and T3. Orly is about 18 km, 30 to 60 minutes.

Versailles is about 20 km and Disneyland Paris about 45 km. Reims is 1.5 to 2 hours each way, Chambord in the Loire Valley 2 to 2.5 hours. For Chambord, the driving alone takes up half the legal day, so keep the other stops close.
