Coach Hire at the Port of Barcelona

Barcelona has seven cruise terminals and no coach parking at any of them. Know your terminal, time the coach to your disembarkation, and the transfer works.

Know your terminal letter before you book

Six of the terminals stand on the Adossat quay: A, B and C, D (Palacruceros), E (Helix), and MSC Cruises' own terminal. The seventh, WTCB, is on the Barcelona quay. Tell the operator which one your ship uses, because the approach differs between the two quays.

Ground transportation at the port

Cruise terminals are on the Adossat quay, plus WTCB on the Barcelona quay.
A cruise shuttle bus links the Adossat terminals with the city centre.
Drop-off for passengers and luggage is allowed; parking at terminals is prohibited.

No parking on the quay

At the terminals, the coach may drop off passengers and luggage, but it may not park. The coach arrives, loads and leaves. It cannot sit and wait for a late group.

So agree a pick-up time that allows for disembarkation and bags, and have the group ready inside the terminal. A cruise shuttle bus links the Adossat terminals with the city centre if someone gets separated.

Shore tours under the Zona Bus

A shore day in Barcelona means Zona Bus rules. Every vehicle with 9 seats or more, the driver's included, must hold a daily Zona Bus permit. Booking ahead is required for stops at MNAC, Sant Pau, La Pedrera, Park Güell and Sagrada Família. A stop lasts 10 minutes at most, with the driver logging arrival and exit on the SPRO app.

The ZBE Rondes demands Euro 4 or newer between 07:00 and 20:00 on weekdays. Plan your stops with the operator before the ship docks.

El Prat to the ship

From the port to El Prat airport is about 15 km, 20-30 minutes. Group coaches at T1 use Floor 0 Arrivals. At T2 the options are T2C docks 21-33, or T2A docks 41-51 and 1-10. For a pre-cruise night, Eixample and the Gothic Quarter keep the morning run to the port short.
